Valencia Basket starts its marathon of games with a hard test vs. Iberostar Tenerife
Valencia Basket opens a tour of three matches in five days receiving in the Fonteta Iberostar Tenerife in match corresponding to day 23 of the Endesa League (Sunday 18, 18: 00h, Fonteta, Movistar Deportes 1). The taronja team will try to defend its good dynamics at home in this competition (where chained nine consecutive wins) against a rival who has won in the last thirteen matches in the Endesa League (including the first round match in Tenerife by a scoreboard 67-70) but that eliminated him a month ago in the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey Gran Canaria 2018 when the black and yellow team won by 72-79.
This game is the return to action of the base Sam Van Rossom, already recovered less than two months after the back injury that occurred before the Khimki Moscow Region. The coach Vidorreta will count with twelve professional players for this match since the forward Fernando San Emeterio will miss his second consecutive game due to the sprained right ankle he suffered last Sunday and joins his absence to the long-term injured Antoine Diot. Valencia Basket currently occupies the third position of the Endesa League with a balance of 15 wins and 7 losses.
